I am sure that those of you who went to the Spring House in Chipping Warden on Monday would agree that it was an excellent visit: generous hosts, a beautiful evening, an interesting garden and a scrumptious spread laid on by the ladies from Chipping Warden Church.
The bog garden was particularly lovely at this time of year with the striking pink candelabra primulas in full flower and the rare and unusual Hankerchief tree (Davidii involucrata) expertly identified by Lesley!
There were some quirky features along the way
And plenty to see for intrepid explorers.
The Wild garlic also added a certain something to proceedings
Before everyone adjourned to sample the fantastic cakes
