Despite being one of the wettest July’s on record it hardly rained at all for our visit to Bourton House near Moreton-
Although it’s a fairly compact garden the borders were packed with wonderful planting. The hot colours and tender tropical plants in the main lawn border contrasting with the cool sophisticated white garden. There were many unusual plants to challenge member’s plant knowledge and the cafe in the Tithe Barn served up wonderful home made cakes and completed a great visit.
