Welcome to Burton Dassett Gardening Club

Covid 19 update January 2021: In line with recent Government guidance the Club is currently unable to meet and we don’t know when we will be able to do so. As vaccination is rolled out and hopefully restrictions ease we’d hope to be able to arrange some garden visits in 2021 if not actual meetings. The Committee will regularly review the situation and we’ll let you know when things start to look more hopeful. Until then look after yourselves and stay safe.

BDGC is a small friendly club for keen gardeners of all levels of experience.

We currently have members from Burton Dassett, Northend, Knightcote, Fenny Compton and other local villages. We meet at 7.30 pm in Knightcote Village Hall on the second Monday of the month, from September to April, with guest speakers on a variety of horticultural topics. In the summer months we organise visits to local gardens and occasionally arrange coach trips to visit gardens further afield.

You don’t need to be an expert to join us. Our club is about making gardening interesting, maybe learning some new things and having a bit of fun along the way. Even if you are an experienced gardener, we will have topics to interest you as well as inspiration from garden visits.

Benefits of membership include affiliated RHS membership giving club members access to RHS offers and advice, and discounts at two local garden centres.

Guests are always welcome at our evening meetings. Just come along – we’d love to see you or contact us via the form on our contact page.
